Memories!!
These nights and these days,
As though spent in drunken haze;
I suddenly remember - how the plants I'd nurture, would go on to bloom,
I vividly recall how often I'd sit in my balcony just watching the Moon;
My thoughts here are like rainbows in the night sky,
Often, recalling my friends' senseless banter, I sigh;
The phone would ring and I'd know it's my Mother's,
Just like I would, when the guard in the lobby would inform me of sweets from my brother's;
My eyelids bat and my heart skips a beat,
As I realise these are fond memories that bleat;
Just then, I look at the skies, and they seem similar,
So, it's the ground I need to hold & make it familiar!!
